Description

Offered is a beautiful 26-piece silver-plate flatware set: service for 4 (dinner knife, dinner fork, dinner spoon, and cream soup spoon plus a serving spoon and butter knife. The pattern is Oneida ON146 listed as "Debutante" or "Princess" or "Grandeur." See closeup pictures of this beautiful, art deco pattern. Condition: The silverplate flatware set (26 pieces) is in excellent preowned vintage condition showing only age-appropriate signs of wear and use. I have not polished the pieces to allow a sense of the patina. The set has been well cared for and is in a well-worn black leatherette Oneida Anti-Tarnish case. See pictures. Markings: The pieces are marked WM A. ROGERS (R HORSESHOE) AA HEAVY ONEIDA LTD. in an art deco pattern known as DEBUTANTE, PRINCESS, or GRANDEUR. This pattern was registered in 1934, and its prior (and only) owner likely received this set in 1934 as a wedding present. Lovely table setting with so much history!
